Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I am proud and privileged to have served on the Santa Clara Valley Water District
since 1993. As a parent and past owner of a flower nursery, I understand the
impact the decisions we make at the Water Board on businesses, families, our
children, and, most importantly, our future. Please consider my experience!
I have been fighting to safeguard the quality of our drinking water; for sound flood protection measures; and to preserve our environment and open space.
I am liaison on the Uvas/Llagas Watershed Advisory Committee and Environmental Advisory Committee; member of the Association of California Water Agencies; and have served on State, Regional and Local committees regarding water resource management.
I have worked with local cities and the County to streamline services to save taxpayer dollars, and have worked to increase the number of educational programs in our schools that teach water conservation and pollution prevention.
I have stressed financial accountability and support the current District management audit to analyze processes for areas of improvement and savings.
In the future, I will continue to work to strengthen the relationship between the Water Board and the community. Most importantly, I will continue to fight for protections for water quality and our environment.

need to raise a significant sum of money. I am asking for your help in
